Your Tent has been created with luxury in mind, to help you get the most from your stay we recommend you bring:

WHAT ARE YOUR HOUSE RULES?
Simply, our main rules are:

no smoking of anything, including e-cigarettes, within the tent

no parties / events
-
no extra guests allowed onsite unless previously agreed by and arranged with us

please ensure you close all gates after entering and leaving
-
please respect the animals which live within the grounds

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITHIN MY STAY?
The Stargazer Lotus Belle Tent contains a kingsize bed with a soft mattress and deluxe bedding.
Our Tent includes the following features:

We do not provide air conditioning, hair dryers, washing machines, television, or wifi. There is 5G onsite.

WHAT ABOUT OUTSIDE MY STAY?
Guests have: ​

ARE MEALS PROVIDED DURING MY STAY?
No. Guests are welcomed with a breakfast basket containing delicious, locally sourced produce. Otherwise, this is a self-catering stay.

IS THE TAP WATER DRINKABLE?
You can drink the tap water within the Shower Hut and W.C. , as this is connected to mains water supply.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN | CHECK-OUT?
Standard check-in time is from 3pm until 11pm.
The check-out time is 11am.
If you wish to amend these times you must arrange this with us in advance of your stay and be amenable to the resulting surcharge. We reserve the right to make a surcharge for a departure which is later than ten minutes from the agreed checkout time, as this adversely impacts the quality of our preparations for the next incoming guest.
DO THE STAYS HAVE ELECTRICITY?
Yes, our tent has electrical connection and sockets.

IS THERE WIFI?
There is no WiFi available however there is good mobile phone signal and 5G onsite.
​
CAN I DRIVE RIGHT UP TO MY STAY?
Yes. Parking is available down the drive from the tent.
TERM'S & CONDITIONS
GENERAL
By booking a stay at Somerton Hall Glamping this is deemed to be a contract entered into between Somerton Hall Glamping, also referred to as “we”, “us”, “the Owner”, together with the associated possessive pronouns, and the customer who is referred to as “the Guest”, “they”, “them”, and the associated possessive pronouns.

BOOKINGS
Guests who make bookings for Somerton Hall Glamping must be aged 18 years and older. The Guest who makes the booking agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all members of their party, binding them jointly and severally to the terms herein.
​
Any payment made by the Guest is deemed confirmation of the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Once a booking is confirmed the Guest is liable for payment of the balance of the total cost, along with any additional charges incurred during their stay.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking without explanation

OCCUPANCY
The accommodation is as follows:
Stargazer Lotus Belle Tent – one adult Guest or two adult Guests only, in one Kingsize bed; option of an extra kingsize bed to sleep up to two extra guests. The price covers the set up of one kingsize bed for up to two guests. An extra guest incurs £15 per extra guest. If the extra bed needs to be set up with only two guests on the booking, there is a £15 surcharge.

No additional overnight Guests are allowed due to safety and insurance conditions at Somerton Hall Glamping. Sub-letting or assignation of the let to others without prior agreement is prohibited by Somerton Hall Glamping.
​
During their stay at Somerton Hall Glamping, Guests will not commit any act which breaks the law. This includes not using the accommodation for any illegal purpose.
​
Check-in is from 3pm – 11pm on the first day of the Guest’s booking.
Check-out time is 11am on the final day of the Guest’s booking.
​
We reserve the right to make a surcharge for a departure later from the agreed check-out time, as this adversely impacts the quality of our preparations for the next incoming Guest.
​
DAMAGE / LOSS / CLEANING
Guests are advised to check their accommodation for any damage or breakages at the beginning of their stay, and to notify us of any that they find therein.
Guests will notify us immediately of any damages / breakages which occur during their stay.
If any part of Somerton Hall Glamping’s property is found to be broken, badly damaged, irreplaceable, or missing as a result of the Guest’s stay, an additional amount – subject to the extent of the replacement / repair – will be taken from the Guest’s account to cover replacement / repair.
Upon vacating the accommodation the Guest is responsible for leaving it in the same good, clean and tidy condition as they found it on their arrival.

The Guest must remove all food items and belongings when they leave. Any food items found to be left within the accommodation after the Guest’s stay will be disposed of immediately. Any belongings found to be left behind in the accommodation after the Guest’s stay must be claimed by the Guest within 30 days of the Guest’s departure. In such cases the Guest will be charged the cost of postage and packing plus a £10 administrative fee to have them returned.After 30 days any such unclaimed items will be disposed of.
The Guest must follow Somerton Hall Glamping’s instructions about waste and recycling and return any moved inventory items to their accommodation or they may be liable for extra replacement and / or cleaning costs.

Fake tan, make-up and hair dye can all cause permanent damage to bedding, bed linens, towels and other household textiles. We ask our Guests to take care when using these products. We recommend that Guests planning to use such products during their stay bring their own spare bed linen and towels to prevent damage to items within the property. If damage / staining does occur and the items cannot be cleaned, an extra charge will be levied to replace these items in addition to any other extra costs incurred.
If the accommodation is not left in an acceptable condition, incurring extra cleaning above and beyond the level which is expected, this will be charged at £15 per individual staff hour. Somerton Hall Glamping reserves the right to deduct this payment using the Guest’s payment details or to invoice the Guest following their stay.
LIABILITY
During their stay it is the Guest's responsibility to close windows and doors when they are not on site.

Somerton Hall Glamping is not responsible for any damage to, the safety of or the loss of the Guest’s personal property while it is on site at Somerton Hall Glamping.
​
Somerton Hall Glamping is not responsible for any damage, illness or injury caused by use of the accommodation and any amenities; such use is at the Guest’s own risk.
​
Somerton Hall Glamping is not responsible for any issues outside our reasonable control such as breakdown of appliances, plumbing, electrical issues, structural repairs, invasion of pests / infestation, damage caused by exceptional weather conditions, noise and disturbance resulting from site maintenance, nearby building works, noisy neighbours or local events.
​
Guests bringing their own bicycles should ensure these are locked using the Guest’s own bicycle locks and left outside the accommodation.
​
Somerton Hall Glamping has no liability for any death or personal injury to Guest/s on site unless this results from the negligence of Somerton Hall Glamping or its employees.
​
PAYMENTS
Bookings are paid for online via AirBnB. All payments are made in £Sterling.
​
PRICE CHANGES
Somerton Hall Glamping reserves the right to amend prices and details on the website.
​
SITE REGULATIONS
Guests at Somerton Hall Glamping must keep to the site rules listed here, behaving in a considerate, respectful, and safe manner to all people and animals onsite:
~ no high noise levels after 9pm; all noise to stop by 11pm
~ amplified music or drumming is not permitted
~ no smoking in any form, including e-cigarettes, is permitted inside the accommodation
~ smoking is permitted outside near the fire-pit. Guests must dispose of any cigarette waste in the rubbish bin within their accommodation
~ fire-pits / outside BBQ must be kept within the private garden
~ only wood is permitted for use in the fire-pit
~ no fireworks or sky lanterns are permitted
~ leave gates as you find them, closing a gate if found closed
~ keep to public footpaths
~ do not walk across crops, including long grass
~ leave no trace on the land

If any of these site regulations are breached we reserve the right to take a fine of £400 which will be levied to cover the cost of additional deep cleaning, repair or replacement, and redecoration.
​
We provide a variety of bins in your accommodation which are clearly labelled for recycling and waste disposal. All items for recycling must be clean and dry before they are placed in the appropriate recycling bin. Please be considerate in how you dispose of unpleasant or intimate waste items.
​
If on the Guest’s departure we are not satisfied with the condition in which their accommodation has been left, we may refuse to take any repeat bookings from that Guest.
​
COMPLAINTS
We aim for all of our Guests to enjoy their stay at Somerton Hall Glamping however we recognise that on occasion things go wrong. In such circumstances, it is the responsibility of the Guest to make any such problem known to us immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving us the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained. We will make every attempt to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.
​
Please note that essential maintenance activities may be carried out on or in the accommodation during your stay.
We reserve the right to enter the accommodation to investigate any concerns by Guests as to disturbances or care of the property. If Guests deny us the opportunity to investigate complaints during their stay, the Guest will waive all rights in this matter.
​
If Somerton Hall Glamping’s Site Regulations are breached we may ask Guests to terminate their stay with immediate effect and without a refund.
​
MISCELLANEOUS
Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property on our website, in marketing material and in email communications, alterations and updates will be made throughout Somerton Hall Glamping over time. The Guest accepts that no refunds are available for any such discrepancies.
​
We reserve the right to enter the accommodation in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.
​
We are entitled to ask the Guest to leave the property without any refund if, in our opinion, the behaviour of the Guest and / or their party is in breach of the conditions stipulated here.
​
PERSONAL DETAILS
Somerton Hall Glamping uses certain information given by the Guest about their party. This data may be used for administration purposes solely by Somerton Hall Glamping, and for sending the Guest future promotional or marketing literature, including print and online. By making a booking at Somerton Hall Glamping, this is taken as consent for us to use the Guest’s personal information for the above purposes.

Somerton Hall Glamping is committed to protecting the Guest’s privacy regarding the above information. Any information will remain confidential and is protected under the Data Protection Act 1988.
​
LAW
The contract between the Guest and Somerton Hall Glamping is governed by English Law. Any dispute the Guest has with Somerton Hall Glamping shall be dealt with in an English Court of Law.
